It’s now been a month since my exam project at college has finished, so I’m now ready to make the site public. It is worth making this available as it was my first fully finished Flask project.
Health Advice Group are a fictional company who want a site that can help them spread their advice to the masses and tie it in to the weather. The site I have created can, therefore:
- Get the current weather, pollen, and air quality data and generate some basic advice from it (ran out of time so this only uses sample data)
- Blog system for HAG to spread more detailed general advice
- Contact page so users can ask for advice specifically tailored to them
- Admin panel to change the destination of contact emails and create/edit blog posts (no, you’re not having the password)
You can see the site at hag.jacobv123.uk, but keep in mind that there are some issues with it, such as how it doesn’t cope well with small resolutions, that won’t ever be patched.
